Joy to the world
Hark the Herald
Noel by Chris Tomlin
Where there once was only hurt
Every Praise
This Choir has been formed specially to show the unity of Churches together in Orpington encouraging the Church made up of many congregations, backgrounds and traditions to see ourselves as one body working together and displaying a sense of unity for the common cause furthering the kingdom of God in Orpington.
You do not have to be a professional singer! This is for people who love to sing and make a joyful noise to the Lord. In a choir you are supported by the people around you and together we make a great sound!
Our next event is the Christmas light up event in Orpington High Street on the 14th of November at 6:30pm till 7pm.
Please if you are interested do come along to the following rehersals! Unfortunately it is a little last minute this year as we don't have a choir director! But there will be guide tracks for your parts online and we can do our best with what we have!

Where there once was only hurt
Where there once was only hurt
Verse:
Where there once was only hurt,
He gave His healing hand.
Where there once was only pain,
He brought comfort like a friend.
I feel the sweetness of His love piercing my dark - ness.
I see the bright and morning sun,
As it ushers in His joy - ful glad - ness.
Chorus:
He's turned my mourn - ing in - to dancing again
He's lifted my sor - rows.
And I can't stay si - lent,
I must sing for His joy has come
Bridge:
Your anger lasts for a moment in time.
But Your favour is here, And will be on for me
For all my life time.
